Our last College Networking Meeting, which took place on Wednesday, December 6, 3:00-4pm, was themed as a "Resource and Program Potluck" and proved to be a productive session. We would love to have as many colleges in the area participate as possible, so please send a representative from your school so that we can work together to expand ideas and suggestions for raising awareness about eating disorders on campus. Our next College Networking Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 18 at 3pm and the theme will be "How to have a meaningful follow-up to Eating Disorder Awareness Week (EDAW)." We will focus on how to use EDAW 2007 as a way to increase available information on campus and specific activities to jump-start eating disorder awareness for students. This is an opportunity for students, faculty, clinicians, health educators and others to come together to discuss education, prevention and treatment of eating disorders and issues surrounding body image within the college population.
